The Kapetanakis mid-late 1920´s

This pictures I get from Carl! Thank you cousin!!!

Here is what we know about the picture:

We belive it was taken in NY when they arrived mid-late 1920´s. John is my Papou´s father seated on the left. Then my papou andoni. The middle boy died in crete before the war? The young boy in the sailor suit is Theo George who was born May 14, 1913 & died March 23, 2005. The little girl is Thea Virginia, her mom Anastasia?? then Carl´s yiayia Efterpi. We think she was born in 1906, died Sept 10, 1973.

The two sisters are Efterpi & Virginia at an older age.

This is what Carl wrote about this picture:

The Handsome man is Thio George when he got engaged. I remember this photo from when I was a kid. It was hanging in my yiayia´s dining room. Apparently the entire photo was "colorized" it was an expensive process wher the entire blk/wht photo is painted. Even when I was a kid all the colors had faded exept the red in his necktie and that´s why I really loved the shot as a kid and will love this picture always. I live in my grandparents house now and I have this shot hanging in the exact same spot. I used to call him:

"The cool old black & white guy with the red tie"
